Often I just want to create a basic shell template and style text, table sand other items later.
I would love the option to be able to exclude unwanted/uneeded items from appearing in the style.css file.
Often I need to tweak the CSS and editing 1000+ lines of code can be tedious.

I agree with this, especially with all if the added features in the new version. It can be a pain to clean up the CSS.

I also agree!
The Code should be clean of course!
There should be a routine at the end that checks for unneeded/unwanted css items.
Without the mentioned new features artisteer 4 will be a flop more or less.
