How do you find the text from V4 in WP to edit it?

It is not showing up in the WP editor for the home page in any view, I looked at the widgets not in that, Not in the theam settings or anyplace. I just tryed to add more text and a small image and it shows in the WP admin but will not show up on the live site. Whats up with this??
