A LOT of ideas! Basically, allow me to customize EVERYTHING.

Okay, I noticed that Artisteer has released 4 beta and I can't remember all of the new features they were including with it, but here's my list of features that I would love to see in the program.

<ul>
<li>JQuery Slideshows</li>
<li>"Top Menu"/Drop-Down Menus that work </li>
<li>Use your own images for the Headline backgrounds for posts and gadgets</li>
<li>Ability to customize the "designed by ___" at the bottom of the layout</li>
<li>Ability to give the blockquotes a background image</li>
<li>Customizeable search bar and email subscription form</li>
<li>Make the corners of the sheet not only rounded, but can make them indented</li>
<li>Customizeable post date. Not just the little icon - I'm talking custom font, in an image to the left of the post title, etc</li>
<li>Post dividers/signatures</li>
<li>Ability to customize the Home/Older/Newer links at the bottom of the page</li>
<li>Make images capable of changing on rollover, including the header image</li>
<li>Also, for some reason everytime I open ANY webpage made with Artisteer, for a second the site isn't properly layed out and then it shifts and formats. I can live with it, but I feel like it makes my site less professional feeling. I've found it does this on all browers I've tried (IE, Chrome, Safari) and on different computers. Here's an image of it happening on my book blog to give you an idea.

Basically, if there were a way to fix this then that would be great.</li></ul>

Well, there you have it. I'm sure there's more but I just can't think of it at the moment. I do remember that the 4 beta has the ability to add HTML/CSS and use Google fonts, both things I am very exciting about. I hope that the Artisteer developers actually read this and hopefully can make a few happen for me. In case it matters, I primarily use Artisteer for Blogger.

**Here's what I said above w/o the code so it's easier to read since the code didn't work for some reason.**

Completely agree with you mate, all mentioned points above seem valid and would really make artisteer a much better software.

I would like to add a few things to the above list :

1. The header section should be completely editable where we can either edit the html code or add images, hyperlinks etc as per user requirements. (everyone wants this feature)

2. More sample designs with better look and feel.

3. responsive layout (if that is possible)

4. More menu styles.

5. Import template feature from html (if that is possible)

What I suggested was unifying the image into the shape concept. You can set z-axis (well, at least bring to front/back the shape), you can move it, rotate it. Why not making image just another kind of shape with similar capabilities? Just an idea ...
