hello artisteer team,

i am testing the new 4.0 version. what i am wondering about is why the page size doesn't support the big mac monitors with 2560 px width. at the moment the maximum page size is 1920 px. would be nice to have more.

I am struggling with a similar problem. I have a 27" monitor with a 2560 x 1440 resolution but even when the header is set to page width (full width) the header will be 2400 pixels wide instead of the entire 2560 pixels. Weird thing is the footer width is okay (2560 pixels wide)...

I stand corrected: the max header width is indeed 1920 pixels (my screen is set to 125%)...

Unfortunately, AS creates an image for the background.

e.g even if you specify a header background strip image 200px * 2px with repeat-x = true, AS will convert this to a solid block image 200px * 1920px ! (I have a 1920 monitor - not sure if it is sized to my monitor, or to a fixed value of 1920 ? )

I believe it is like this to make the header background design as flxible as possible, but it is a bit annoying and makes page-width designs for the header, and footer, a bit suspect?
