Hi,
4.0 is great steap ahead, really a nice work! However, I would welcome some few features, which could make Artisteer a bit more flexible:
1) there is a possibility to enter various meta tags. I would like the option to add a script tag for custom scripts too. I know that you can instert some code directly into html, but some code I tried is not initialised, unless defined in the header or added to the script.js (but maybe this is just lack of my knowledge of JS). However, as options contain various fields already, why not add another one for custom script tags?
2) postprocessing. I am doing my postprocessing in REBOL language, which is a parse/replacement king. I would welcome some field in options, allowing us to call an externall app, submitting it a path to the previewed content, so that pressing Ctrl shift F would call the postprocessing, before it gets displayed in the browser, so that you can see it complete with your postprocessing changes
3) slideshow - I would welcome simple option to turn-off the Navigator. For some multimedia presentations, I don't want to have it there. Right now it can be tricked around by making it all transparent.
4) text transitions - in my recent website, instead of slideshow, I have implemented text slideshow (no need to change hundreds of kilobytes of images). In fact, it is just fade-in/out. Should be easy to add, if we have already slideshow. You can look at an example here ( http://www.2zone.cz/web ) . Simply put, each shape could have its own set of "slides" and transitions - would allow for nice flash like multimedia sites ...

Nice suggestions.
I like a lot of the new design elements in 4.0. They help give the templates a more modern look..
I'm assuming this is going to be a general request thread and I have one suggestion about header shapes and images. We should be able to layer them any way we want. They seem to be considered separate and shapes are always in the foreground. It's kind of limiting.
Please make it so that once there is both a shape and a picture in the header, we can bring one forward or send one back. That would make for much more interesting designs.
I would also love to be able to have the images from the header layer over the menu or content.

I have been searching a lot of places for a way to make it understandable that there is sub menu items in the menubar.
That would be nice if it could be possible to select a small icon-like pic to indicate that it is a drop-down.
I really like the program, it makes my life a lot easier..

Along with Responsive and touch features for smart phones and tablets, I would LOVE to see parallax editing.

AS 4.0 is beta I expect crashes. However It would be nice to have the reporting system for the crashes not be restricted to pop email path's like if outlook was enabled.
If it could send the notice like Microsoft does on its reports without needing to route through a mail client that would be great, as I want you to get all the reports to iron out the bugs.
I just don't want to use outlook.
