Quick Observations:
1. The online images are great, and although we can crop them in artisteer, etc... the resulting images are 800+kb each. If you have a slideshow with just a few images, you can imagine the problems it can cause... I can optimize them, no problems there, but some others might not have the knowledge or the tools to optimize the images appropriately for the web.
2. When you ask Artisteer to suggest colors, it also suggests header images, thus all of your header image get replaced. This does not happen if you manually choose a color scheme. I am not sure if this is a bug, or done on purpose.

The image size isn't a biggy for me either as I can optimise those myself as well. But for others that have less experience it may cause an issue.
The header image change when suggesting new colours does sound like a bug. I suggest starting a new thread for a Artisteer 4.0 Bug list as well as sending feedback to support. They may be unaware of it themselves.
