Weird thing... I've been messing with a new layout for a fashion-related website.
All I've done is browse a couple of fashion sites. Not signed-up for anything or given out any details etc.
All of a sudden, I get 2 emails to 2 of my different addresses from ASOS (not even one of the sites I visited), going on about fashion bargains.
Coincidence? How did they get my email addresses??????????????

Someone tried to hack my main site a couple of days ago and I traced his Russian email adds from their ip adds along with their location and name! If I could afford the cab fare I'd go round there and have a straightener. . If someone is collecting ips they could conceivably be spamming site visitors. Only a guess tho.

Ohh! I have a recommendation. Free VPNs are great, right? Well, actually, no, they're not. Free VPNs may seem like an excellent alternative to paid solutions, but in truth, you're still paying.

I understand. Probably you've experienced a phishing attack. Good thing I haven't and read this article https://clearvpn.com/blog/what-is-phishing-attack/ about what it is. It gives a lot of useful information on how you can also prevent this attack and protect yourself from other attacks. Good luck!
