I've just downloaded Artisteer trial version and I've been using it to create Joomla 2.5 templates, but I got this error:
Quote :Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in C:\xampp\htdocs\joomla\templates\sample6\functions.php on line 616
and the menu is not displayed. I tried 5 different templates generated by Artisteer and I got the same error.
Can someone guarantee me that if I'd buy a license this issue can be fixed or there is another solution?

Thanks Gary,
I fixed the problem switching display_errors from "on" to "off" in php.ini. I don't know if it is the best ideea, but in this way I can avoid error messages to be dispalyed.

This isn't a local issue. I'm getting this error on a live site. Other than switching error reporting off on my server, which would keep me from seeing any errors at all, any good ideas on a way to fix this?

try to disable the "Strict Standards" notification in your php.ini file.
