Just because some guy said May 26, it does not make it a fact. My bet always was to come out right after WordPress 3.4. Their original release date was April 18, then May 9, now they don't even have a date for RC1. What's the delay there? PROBABLY, as usual and in typical WP fashion, security issues. I hope I'm wrong, but don't expect anything at least until July.

@ Shhh, they might be making Artisteer templates fully compatible with WP 3.4 so they can be editable from the backsite, or simply waiting to see if it's going to be 100% compatible, so they don't have to release a patch for within days. Overall though, who the hell knows, they are not saying anything, it's very disappointing and frustrating. My real hope is that all these delays are because they are adding responsive design (wishful thinking on my behalf).
Wordpress now is adding real time template (theme) editing, so unless Artisteer templates will do that, I will be using other than Artisteer themes, as shown in this video http://vip.wordpress.com/2012/05/10/wordpress-3-4-preview-theme-customizer/

I stopped using Artisteer because it can NOT do RESPONSIVE design.
Guess I'll renew when Artisteer can do RESPONSIVE design.

I agree with Ardoris. I was forced to buy some premium templates that were responsive. This is becoming one of the standard requirements for me now. I still have several months for my Artisteer subscription. If by then they don't introduce responsive design, it's going to be extremely difficult for me to renew. I guess a lot of people are feeling this way.

I agree, 3.1 is behind in the trends. For example, I cannot add gfx borders which allows most of my sites to look like it was made on MS Word. I hope 3.2 releases SOON and has the upgrades needed to renew my subscription

I just received something from Artisteer Support about the next release.
Them seem to be scraping version 3.2 and working on Artisteer 4.0 with a release (Did not say Beta) this Summer. No further details other then to keep an eye of the never updated news pages. So I'm assuming we wont see anything for awhile yet if the statement is accurate.

Erm... we are in spring, nearly in summer.. you said you paid for another year, so you WILL have access to a new version.... this summer... in 1-2 months
