More block placement control. Particularly the header area.

Hi,

I would love to see more control over blocks , particularly in the header / top area of the site.

For instance:
* if I want to add a widget (such as a search box) or my own html inside the header area that would be really good. There is no way of doing this within Artisteer currently (correct me if I am wrong).
* It would be quite nice to be able move my horizontal menu inside the header on occasion to make better use of screen space.
* similarly, I would really like to be able to have my logo and my horizontal menu at the same height (ie. Logo to the left and horizontal menu on the right). Like in the following example:
http://themeforest.net/item/grip-corporate-business-html-template/full_screen_preview/2011368

I am using Artisteer (mac) v3 if there is a way of doing this in 3.1 or 3.2 (when I arrives) I would be very interested.

Thanks Artisteer

Great product

Hello there,

i agree with the above request, i have been using pc v 3.1.3 i think PAID and i have been developing a new template for am joomla upgrade (2.5) i have been trying to place modules ABOVE the top menu (test site www.nths-saxonalumni.org/main ) i want to put the search on the top right of the menu bar and a private pm notifier on the top left of the Top Menu Bar... this way they dont have to be apart of the Main site area at the same time i want to maybe throw a text enlarget next to search (like the sample templates)

:-) I do agree. I am waiting for this feature also. you can add text boxes in version 4.0 but am not sure if you can put these boxes as blocks in drupal.
