How to redirect an Artisteer mobile template |

Okay,
So I figured out on my own how to make a mobile site out of an Artisteer template.
Basically, I changed the sheet to 100% fluid width, minimum 300 px, one column, got rid of the menu and replaced it with a vertical menu, got rid of most of the blocks or put them under the vertical menu, made everything smaller and simpler. Smaller fonts, got rid of most of the padding except for 3px, made the header shorter, made the vertical menu bars tall enough to press with a finger, etc. My new mobile-friendly site looks great.
So now what? Do I export it as a WordPress theme and then have two installations of WordPress for every website?
Or do I export it as html, use a redirect WordPress plugin, an add an RSS feed?
Hmm...I think I may try html, but would love some feedback anyhow.

This is interesting and something that I am looking to do, any chance that you would be up for sharing your template in its original form, e.g. before exporting. On the off chance that you would my email address is enquries@mightec.com

I believe Wordpress has a plugin that will load a different theme for mobile users using the same content of the original.
I forget the name but a search of the plugin repository should turn up something.

You can download this free redirection plugin
http://wpmobileplugin.com/wp-mobile-redirection.zip
WPTouch is a cloner and not a redirection plugin

Unless I'm missing something, the redirection plugin simply detects for mobile devices and ONLY redirects you to a new URL. It does not load a different template from within that WP installation.
So at best, you need to WordPress web sites, one regular, one for mobile, and somehow constantly have them synchronized.
There has to be a plugin that detects mobile devices, and loads up another theme of your choice.
You don't have this problem with wptouch. Yes, you can't use your Artisteer created mobile template, but you don't need to. Everything is taken care of for you.

Best option is to adapt same theme for both the devices so that it fetch different styles for different devices.

Please elaborate on how that is done one a single WordPress site. Do you have one theme or two themes?
