I thought i would make a header for my website that blends in with the background with some seethrough elements. But allthough I am not yet finished with making my header look like I want to, I have encountered another problem: The background fill color is laying in between the background and my header, and I dont know how to remove it.
My header is png and is transparent where it should be, but because of the background color it doesnt show the background pattern. Can anyone help me ounderstand how to remove the background-color?
This is my site: http://tonjepedersen.com/

Simply set the transparency of sheet and header to 100%

I dont want to make the header completely transparent, just make the background color behind the header disappear.

But transparency IS added only to background, not to objects (logo, pics, text) in it.

Same problem here, when setting the background transparancy to 100% the header also is transparant...
Somewhone the right solution for it ?

When setting transparency to Header in Artisteer 3.1 RC, the rest (like logo, text, glare) are still visible.

But the header is supposed to be visible. The background color behind the header is the issue... and that is in the header, not the background.

In your template if you have the header layout/position set as Inside the Sheet, then the header would have the same fill-in color as the body sheet. Create the header Outside of the Sheet in Artisteer itself, then set margin between the header and menu on minimum, then add your own image ad Foreground photo and set Transparency for the header as 100%.
Sorry, I haven't thought earlier that you must be having header inside the sheet

Same problem here.
2 years later, the option is still not available to make the background transparant?!
I have set a slideshow as a background in a small Joomla! website.
Though the background in Artisteer has to be set in a color, while I want full transparency, just like it is possible in all the other functions.

Any advice?

I'm not sure if this is a fix or a work-around but since Artisteer doesn't allow you to have a transparent background, I created a 1px background image (a png file), it is about the same as having a transparent background. No one can see a 1px dot in the top left hand corner of the screen.
I used this so I could have unique background images on each page - not just on the sheet but on the entire website background.
