we can only hope for a visually modern approach to the Artisteer menu system. The static CSS menus are getting old

I agree... somehow. I still like the CSS menus however.
As from v25 (i think) Artisteer has adopted JQuery. I think they should be able to use that 70kb JavaScript for other things than just position the blocks:
-nicer menus
-gallery and slider effects
-popup effects
-toggle effects
well... just google-search for "popular jquery plugins"...
