Artisteer crashes every time I try to convert one of the free templates into a different format.
This information is probably buried at the end of some other thread but I don't think we should have to be Sherlock Holmes to find out whether or not basic functions work.
Also, sidebar widget formatting is not displayed.
I honestly don't know how people are able to use this product for anything but a hobby. Anything I have ever gotten paid for involved a deadline and how can you work on a deadline if you use flaky buggy software?
I wasn't going to mess around with the beta but then it looked like it was going to be in beta forever so I tried it and it seemed ok. But then I came back the next day and there was a new beta so I upgraded but now it doesn't work so I guess I need to go back to the old version and on and on and on...
I don't understand how people can waste huge chunks of time like this and be ok with it.

I think Artisteer team fixed this issue in updates beta 2

You are confusing the actual issue with one particular example of a problem caused by the issue.
The true issue is that serious business people do not have time to mess around with beta software.
Here is a venn diagram: O O
The circle on the left is the set of business people who use a tool to make money.
The circle on the right is dweebs who think it is fun to tinker with buggy software.
Please note: there is no intersection of these sets.
Serious business people do not think buggy software is interesting or amusing.
