I've been using the 3.0 beta flawlessly.
So is there really any real reason for me to install the new beta?

If you don´t need anything then no. But i think it have improved stability and better support for Joomla 1.6, newest Drupal and Wordpress.
It also feel much faster than beta 1..

The only difference
|
The only difference I see is the menus are now more generic looking. Besides that everything else seems to more or less be the same.
See what I mean?

First look: beta 2 is much faster like any previously version! 
And fixed two bugs:
- live preview when select any layout
- sidebar layouts (corners, heading) working now!
And I testing more...

On the freetemplates-site, there is a Template with a big footer: http://templatefiles.artisteer.com/160/HTML/index.html
The Template works on Joomla too.
How to make a Footer like this in Artisteer?

Just download project file, and see this. 
In footer have a table. This template very simple, just use tables and cells for positioning.
Under Joomla use syndicate or copyright position for this.

@well: Don´t download as .art - download it for e.g. Joomla... It works then.
@mykee: Thx. The Template itself is not interessting for me. But the Footer. I want a footer with 3 ModulePositions in it - i think i have 2 ask brother google?!

Well: just save HTML package and artx, and look inside. Under beta 2 just click to an item, and look parameters. Very interesting how made these templates.
Marco: If you need just weblinks, use a plugin to Joomla (have free plugins too), or make a table. For three new positions you need coding after export... Look around here in artisteer forum and joomla section for solutions.

It's not any fast on my computer and it crashes. If you guys are telling me that really the only difference is some free templates. (That I will never use. I don't even use suggest design.) Then I'd say it's not worth upgrading yet. The new beta has nothing the old beta didn't have...

What a waste of time waiting for that....

What beta 2 version use you? Because I remove 37922 version, because have project change bug (read more from this bug:

)
I installed again 37829 version, and I have no problem with it. (install bug haven't, because 37922 uninstalled correctly)

From all the things I've been reading looks like the new beta version is a step backward.
I'll be sticking with the original 3.0 Beta release. Still works perfectly for me...

New, 37990 version good worked to me, but I found a little bug (RSS icon double to me in footer under Joomla 1.5), but this sent to Artisteer. Other big bug I not found yet, new generated template working.
I like new beta.
