Embedded PDF hidden in Internet Explorer

I'm a satisfied user of Artisteer 2.6 and have already delivered more than 10 Joomla websites with Artisteer
templates.

In the latest template we want to show PDF-documents embedded in an article. It works very fine, both manually and
with the 'Enbed PDF' plugin - exept for one thing: The document is hidden behind a grey box when viewing in Internet
Explorer (7+8/standards + quirks). When we click the Joomla print-button the pdf-document is viewable in IE!

After some hours of testing and debugging, I have found this:

1) In the html there this div is causing the trouble:

(...)
(pdf document)
(...)

2) When renaming to

the pdf-document becomes visible.

3) If the Javascript 'script.js' is deleted, the problem goes away.

4) In this script the function artLayoutIESetup() is altering (in line 322) the html if browser is IE with this
instruction:

c.push(r_ch);

When I rem ( // c.push(r_ch); ) this line, the problem goes away. And I haven't seen news problems after disabling
this line.

If support reads this: Any comments on how to fix it without altering the script?

Otherwise: Thanks for at god product.
