Have you try artisteer v2.6 or version 3.0? If you have tried both please write your comments.
I have tried both version, v2.6 is heating up my CPU and v3.0 is not.
Version 2.6 is slow on my Win7 box and version 3.0 is faster.

3.0 is better just better becouse it's tearicaly newer. Newer - means better.

On v3.0 I like where to change the css suffix name to customize name.

Version 3 is better! Comfortable to me, because just click on an item, and I get menu what need. Under 2.x is not, I need search a functionon any tabs.
Second favorite: under 2.x cannot resize side columns, Just use percents.
Under v3 can use exactly width.

Version 3 had much more options than the older versions and it works very well with Wordpress 3.1. It has a few bugs though but I am sure artisteer will solve them before they bring up the final version.
The output is without question ok. I am using the artisteer generated theme on a live site without any problems at all and the second one is under construction right now.

If you buy version 2.6 then you can use the serial number for version 3 as well.

3.0 is definitely better.
I love that they finally added the option to change the color of the footnote text and links within the program. I always hated having to hunt down the spot in the CSS code to change that.
I have not had one single problem whatsoever with 3.0 beta that I am aware of. No crashes... no nothing.... just awesome template building and exporting..... and the code has not caused any problems whatsoever with my wordpress or any plugins.
Oh and I love that there are now much fewer php pages in the templates to edit if you need to change things.
