I am testing Artisteer 3.0 with Joomla 1.6. It's been entertaining to say the least. I cannot get my top navigational menu to display on the site. I have tried using art-menu and art-hmenu with no luck. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

I am having the same problem! I get only a bulleted list for my top menu instead of the Artisteer buttons I designed. I checked all the forums and cannot find any solutions in them, so if anyone know how to fix this please help! Thanks!

Vincent, you do not have a menu in the 'user3' position which is required for the horizontal menu to work. You have menus in left & banner 1.

You haven't published your menu in user3 Vincent. Use this to see the module positions in your template: http://www.alvearium.info/?tp=1

Hopefully you haven't started trawling through help files on the link above. I am happy to tell you that to get the top menu showing go into joomla administrator. Click extensions >module manager. Select Top Menu (Atomic Template) module then type user3 in the position box at the top left hand side. Thanks to Ant for helping me

I tried this as well, my problem is, it shows them up at the top, unformatted, stacked one link on top of the other, and not displayed as buttons as I specified in the template.

:-X I get this when I click on the menu links. And it doesn't display the way my template has showing.

@ MikeH

Contacting Artisteer support may be helpful.

Is it just me that thinks that having to assign to " user-3. " is not the most intuitive!!??
I mean seriously - this should be more obvious!

:-/

I'm having this exact same issue. Joomla ver. 2.5.4 and Artisteer ver. 3.0.0.4xxx.
Tried the user3 position... in fact... I've been trying everything I can think of for 6 hours. Starting to remember why I left Joomla back when it was Mambo. WP has a much less convoluted work-flow.
So.. here is the site.... http://stanbarker.com/
Here is what it is supposed to look like.

Okay. I figured out the menu portion. Wow. What a PITA. If anyone wants to point out getting the categories to display on right column.. that would be a bonus.

seems like your site is in good shape. I mean, all thats needed is to create your menus on the right side. Just create your menu and assign it to your desired position.

In other words, create you menu in menu manager, then go to module manager and assign that menu you just created and click on select position to assign it to a position. In your case, search for the position called right or position6-8 or 3...

You need to select Position1 if you exported the template with new position naming.
