I did a fresh install of 1.6, with Artisteer 3. But I get an almost blank page. Do the templates only work when I install with sample data?

 I think it's only work with Joomla 1.5. Joomla 1.6 may be install but not running!

I have gotten templates created with Art v3.0 to work with Joomla 1.6, using sample install data only.
I have created templates in previous version of Artisteer 2.4.0.27666 (Win) - does anyone know what I must do to have these work on joomla 1.6?

Hi, I have been testing Joomla 1.6, but I have problems when I get a template made with Artisteer 2.5 or 3.0 is installed without problem, but the template is not complete, is not the columns, but if 1522 is no problem in joomla ,
could someone help me with this situation, that my templates made with Artisteer 2.5 or 3.0 beta, is not complete?

Did install any sample datas or your datas to Joomla 1.6 version? 
If not, you will see blank template without any menus or content. Try 1.6 with install sample datas.

Try this:
- install new beta from news page
- open your old projects with 3.0 beta, this will convert your 2.4 version templates to new version
- export template again with 3.0 beta.

Nelson, as posted in the other thread where you mention this problem. Make sure you publish modules to the correct positions for the artisteer created template. Joomla 1.6 has different position names in the default templates compared to 1.5 and the artisteer created templates

Thanks for your reply, If I installed Joomla 1.6 with the articles of examples previously tested with version joomla beta 15 and were all but with the verson column RC1 can not see the column or the structure must have the templates

I installed J1.6 clean, and uploaded artisteer 3.0 template, but I am not able to use it. It is not selectable in styles.

Joomla 1.6 will be release 10th of January.
Read this on RC1 download site:

Why is it that Artisteer does not use the same Joomla positions as Joomla. The Artisteer approach requires you edit the positions setup manually? For instance moving the "left" position to the left side of the page requires manually editing the xml file? An I missing the position layout feature somwhere so you can redefine positions with Artisteer before export?

i have been told to go back to joomla 1.5 but there is no way i will downgrade. if anyone can help me i will apreachiate it

Hmm. Not sure why your artisteer template is not working with joomla 1.6
I have joomla 1.6 installed on 2 servers. local and web and both are doing well with artisteer 2.6 and artisteer 3.0.

i did everything that the tutorial said
