I have a client that requested from me to make her menu bar run in a straight line through her whole site as it does in the following site:
http://www.inspire.lu/index.php
Is there a way to make this possible with Artiseer?

That's not running through the whole site. It's a clever use of a background image. I have also done it here: flannerymeats.ie
You use a background image (self-created) that looks like the header and the menu bar. Here's one of mine: http://flannerymeats.ie/sites/all/themes/flannery_meats/images/page_gl.jpg
In that case, it's a glare that I used, then edited the css to make it repeat. I have a background image repeating at the bottom of the page.

This is absolutely possible with Artisteer. You'll simply have to use the provided background images and work from there. There're many menu styles to suit your background, blending is easy.

I don't think the background images provided will look the same as the menu *and* include a gradient. The image will more than likely have to be custom created.

There're many ways to do this, but one method is by using a background image / gradient that blends in with the menu. I've found it a clever technique, but as you said, there are of course custom methods to achieving this.

Lawrence, I think we are both saying the same thing. I'm just saying you may need to create the image for the background yourself.
