Has anyone had success using Artisteer to create email templates?

Why wouldn't you have any success?
Create the email with V3.0, use the web site or blog template. After you export the files, open the index.html file and change the references to all the css, image, jquery etc... files to the appropriate location on the internet. Upload the files to the appropriate location on the internet.
That should be it. I have not tried it yet, but that's what I'm going to do in 5 minutes...

OK, after testing with yahoo and gmail accounts, the emails programs do not process the CSS files. The only choice left is to take a snapshot of the web page and slice it into chunks of tiny images. Now your email only contains html code that stitches together the images...

The PROPER way is to do inline CSS, and not even in the header. When doing email templates, you need to put the CSS in each line of HTML. That's the most email client friendly way to do it. Takes a long time though.

This is the sad truth and there is very patchy support for background images and other things. If Artisteer could even take a design and inline the CSS that would be a start and a great timesaver!

It would be great if Artisteer Had that as an upgrade or a part of the entire package considering most all websites should have a tailored email companion template for use to keep the brand and organization digital presence on the same page (look and feel) rather than use a constant contact or AcyMail tempalte.
This feature ought to be a MUST have!
Thanks,
Todd

Html Web Site, or CMS? You have to be specific please, if you want a direct answer.

@ Dusan
I think you are exported as HTML template, suggest you to go for a CMS as Content management systems has login and email contact forms inbuilt.

Artisteer doesn't directly support creating email templates but you can try modifying an Artisteer created HTML template according to your needs.
