common_methods.php contains (around line 239) two nbsp without the semicolon like this &nbsp|&nbsp (search for this string).

This throws a semantics warning during validation and I have to correct it each time I use Artisteer.

Yes, this is a common issue. I'm not sure why, but perhaps it has something to do with making the program compatible with the other CMSes Artisteer supports. Post here - http://www.artisteer.com/Default.aspx?forum_id=10&p=forum_topics and see if they can not have it generate the two non breaking namespaces for Drupal generated themes. My guess is they need that in there for compatibility reasons, although that does put Drupal users at a slight inconvenience. Atleast you've got a method how to deal with it. :-)
