How does an Artisteer template handle search-result.tpl.php

I am trying to find out why Artisteer didn't plan on anyone doing searches on Drupal sites? Really!

There is a standard search module in Drupal. It has a file called search-result.tpl.php. You should take a look at it. Again, it is standard.

Then, if you take a look at the acquia_marine template, you see that they actually have a file called search-result.tpl.php, where they theme the search.

I mean, am I supposed to just steal from the acquia_marine template to supplement the Artisteer one? The Artisteer template puts out some rather aweful looking results!

...Of course, I can add CSS to my style.css, but what I am saying is that there was no real work done to code the search page in Artisteer or to style it.

Can one of the Artisteer staff look at this?

Artisteer has a lot of support for many platforms, so it's difficult to put all effort into a single one. Artisteer is an evolving project, your best bet is to post a suggestion here - http://www.artisteer.com/Default.aspx?forum_id=10&p=forum_topics

Hopefully there'll be more support for this in the future. :-)

Lawrence, thanks. Do they even read the suggestions on these forums? I don't see any interaction here at all from the staff.

They do read the suggestions, I've brought up some to them through the support ticketing system and they've already looked into applying many feature requests. It's just Artisteer supports such complex platforms (Drupal, Joomla!, DotNetNuke, etc,.) that it takes quite a bit of effort to get them applied, and replying to feature suggestions would further increase pressure on the Dev team. Best to not make promises and deliver surprises little by little. :-)
