I don't find it difficult to edit the exported files for Artisteer. I don't know what you are talking about, Kasparas. Can you please give a specific example?

I also am having difficulty figuring out the layout.
Artisteer Themes are rarely quite layed out as I want them- I usually want to add areas to the header, below the menu, etc.

With the previous Artisteer versions, I could do the editing in the header.php and stylesheet. Now, the header does not contain the actual html or styles, so I'm having trouble figuring out what to edit to get things the way I like them...

For now, going back to the previous Artisteer version...

I completely agree with Kasparas and Brian and I've been working with Artisteer for almost 2 years now. The changes in 2.5.x currently make it extremely difficult to achieve some of the simplest edits to a theme as the new theme structure is very very different than most of the wordpress themes in the world today.

That means many many people familiar with wordpress, wordpress code, or wordpress theme structure are going to now crack open an Artisteer theme and be completely lost.

I'm finding some plugin incompatability issues as well due to the configuration of the new index.php file.

They should enable hand editing of code from within Artisteer.

For example if want to not display post tags in index page, i cannot do that becouse of 2.5 exported single.php file i see only some sort of funktions like "if (have_posts())"

No new thoughts here?
