Making redirect menu items visible |

Hi,
I am trying to get a menu item to display in the top menu but only to open up another url in a new window. DNN seems to add the redirect javascript into the url field in the Tabs table and this somehow stops the ArtMenu vb code from appending it to the menu. Can this be done.
Using DNN 5.04.01 and 2.4.0.25435
