I am wondering how it is possible to redistribute Blogger Templates. Whenever I use the exported HTML document from Artisteer the template - once uploaded to blogger - comes out with missing images and icons even if the images are uploaded to Imageshack. Please help.

When you export a Blogger template, export the template, not the html file.

Use:

Export > Publish Template to Blogger.com (this will automatically install your Artisteer-designed template in the blog you choose, and upload to either your FTP website or Picasa--I have no luck whatsoever with uploading to Imageshack)

or

Export > Export Template (this creates a folder with an xml file ("main.xml") and images on your computer)

Do not use

HTML page. This only creates an html page that looks like a blogger page. It does not create the code that blogger needs.

Another way to make changes is to use Artisteer to upload directly to the blog from the Artisteer interface, and then in your blog, go to the LAYOUT and open EDIT HTML to make changes directly online - or as an alternative you can download the template xml file and make changes to it in your HTML Editor. Save the changes and upload again through the blog EDIT HTML interface.

Your images should all be online already and recorded correctly in the xml file even if you download it and make more changes.

@Gabbie,

The best method to upload Blogger template is to publish template to blogger automatically from Artisteer.
