I know a few have asked about two horizontal menus, so I had a look at this today, once I got my head around the code it was not to hard.

This tutorial is for Artisteer 2.4 and opens up the menu a bit, you can have your two menus all styled the same, then more, move the home button left or , have pages and categories in the same menu and split them left and right.

From the tutorial

Many of us have downloaded the Artisteer 2.4 Beta, and one of the items from the ‘wish list’ was the Categories menu, you can choose a vertical and horizontal menu, but not two horizontals, Artisteer have done most of the work for us here, so lets explore the options and add some more functionality.

Look at this image, we have the Home menu item and then three Categories and on the right we have a Page menu, pretty cool menu and not hard to achieve, you will need Artisteer 2.4 to complete this tutorial.

Thanks David, that is great, can't wait to try it...

One thing I was wondering about when the 2.4 beta was released, was that the preview shows the vertical menu containing both page-menu and category-menu, but in reality this does not appear to be achievable out of the box. Would this be just as easy as to achieve, if the final release does not do it automatically ?

Should be the same principal I will have a look later this week, as it would be a nice to have.

Save you the wait, I have added it to the end of the post as a Bonus section.

It uses all the Artisteer code, and adds a second widget, with two lines of code you can configure this menu anyway you want, and as it is a seperate widget you can have two blocks in a sidebar pages on one and categories on the other, or a single mixed block.

Second file downloadable in the blog post.
