Blog or article module

Just as a refresher... My project involves creating more than 300+ websites that have a quality look and 3-5 pages of quality content focused on the top questions/answers for the related subject. After the inital launch of each they will need to be easily maintanable and add new content. I'm looking to use DNN with artisteer for the themes.

So I'm slowly working through things and find that the last piece I really really need is a decent blog/article module for easily adding content on an ongoing basis.

What I'm looking for is suggestions from the helpful group on here as to what approach and if there are any products that would be cost effective for this application and work with artisteer. The built in blog component for DNN for example breaks when in edit mode when using DNN skins.

Thanks in advance.

SiteBuilder - Two quick ideas.

1. There is a wiki core module in DNN that might work for you.

2. I would recommend following this link to SnowCovered. There are many such offerings there.

Ventrian News Articles. www.ventrian.com. Best in class.

Thanks everyone for the advice. Regarding Ventrian... First off, any known issues of dropping their article module into a Artisteer skin? I know I'm going to have to get my hands dirty a bit in the skinning as I move forward but the lest pain the better.
Also, I notice they use a subscription model that allows 3 months access for 24.95. Very reasonable. But I can't tell if they are expecting me to pay that for each site I would use the module for or if would have to keep paying the subscription every 3 months even after the project was already completed from a developer perspective. In other words I can't expect my clients to continue to be paying an ongoing fee 2-3 years after the site has been handed off.

www.adcent.nl is a small Dutch site build with Artisteer 2.3
The site is using Ventrian News Articles on almost every page.
I created a Ventrian News Article Adcent template to change some minor things. Most of the layout comes from the Artisteer style.css

Ventrian has a pretty open licensing policy. The subscription buys you access to all modules and source. There are no limits on how many sites, portals or DNN installs you can use it on.

I've been a customer for 4 years and highly recommend it.

It plays nicely with Artisteer skins out of the box - but since they have a template system built into News Articles - you can make it look and work however you want.

Thanks for all the help. I went ahead and purchased the news articles module. Very cool and definitely worth the low cost of entry. Since it does have source I suppose I'll be able to get it to do what I need to no matter what.

As it stands I'm very happy with the possibilities.
