I see there are two options when exporting your Artisteer template:

1. Applying it directly to your Blogger blog, and that requires your Blogger Username and Password

2. Exporting the Template (either as a zip or folder)

What experience, good or bad have people had with option 1?

With Option 2, I have looked in the zip file that is created and there is a folder in there called 'Images' that contain all the images the template needs.

These images will need to be uploaded onto a hosting site:

a) Which hosting site is best?
b) Do all images need to be uploaded individually, or is there a site where can you upload the entire folder of images in one go?
c) When the images have been upload to a hosting site what changes need to be made to the template so it knows where to find the images it needs?

Thanks

hi

1)
some people have problem with login and password. they can't login on their accounts. I don't have that problem and hope never will. For me,problem is that details are not encoded when sending and logging to blogger.

2)

a) depending on yours needs.anyway, i don't have great experience in that field.

b)of course it depends from the hosting provider.don't know... :-/

c)well, it depends. when you use sites similar to imageshack (this particular is aviable in artisteer), you have to change every single line of the code, which looks for a particular image. Like..background images, header images, glares and similar.

if you have access to any ftp, before you export your template, you can put login and password and host into artisteer export options. then, if transfer didn't fail, you do nothing.

hope that i helped
