And you don't do this in Artisteer. It's done in Joomla.

The standard installation of JOOMLA doesn't handle the button code very well. There are modules and extensions though that help that type of code work flawlessly in an article or module position... for instance, SOURCER.
http://www.nonumber.nl/extensions/sourcerer?tab=download
This extension allows you to place the button code into any article or module position and outputs the expected button functions. Also helps you place javascript, flash, or any other advanced code into a page or article as needed.

Although RokQuickCart is a slick little extension for Joomla, I don't recommend it because it can be hacked. With FireBug, you can change prices of products and process the order. For the store owner, it's a pain to check for each order to make sure it hasn't been hacked.
I instead for an extension called "Nice PayPal Button" that is simple and seems to not have the hack that RokQuickCart does.

Looking for better answers I have found a PayPal solution that seems to work well. I do get my button from PayPal and I place the code (the button) into the HTML editor manually. Seems to work every time.
