Okay, how do I get "anther Mac" as I am working with the trial version and it just crashes.....
very interesting program though.

It was doing the same thing too (crashing a lot) but stopped after I reinstalled it new. It's all good now.

Hello,
How can i do if i just want to try the 2.4 ?
Actually, i own 2.3 and it works well on my iMac. Crashes only sometimes. so i want to try the 2.4 and if there is a problem, i want to come back to 2.3
Whiche files i need to save before installing 2.4 .

You need to have complete installer file, you can contact Artisteer support to know if they have link to 2.3 version.

Hi,
It's better to contact support. You'll help them to create a more stable application so the next release may be the official release. Having no details about the problems they won't help you with a new stable version.

Just installed latest release and continually crashes.
Such a frustration, the programe is fantastic and has so much to offer. It would be nice to get a few words from the developers on this forum, just to acknowledge issues and offer reassurance working on them. Come on Artisteer we are all working with you, work with us a little.

I'm experiencing the crashing too with the latest release 3.1.0.45075. I installed it after removing the previous installation and simply cycling through some suggested designs is enough to make it crash.

Same here.
It seems to take longer to crash on my laptop(slower) though then my desktop, gonna try more when i get to work.
I tried the earlier beta with just using the suggest design and it also crashes, and yes maybe my older one crashes now because i have new files installed from the new one

I bought this cause I thought it would improve my workflow with webdesign. Instead because constant crashing it slows it down! When ever I get design that I just need to tinker a little, I have to start from beginning.

This something you should not sell for customers - paying customers are not betatesters - I thought if this is RC version - meaning it is a candidate to be released for customers, it should be stable with minor bugs.
No wonder they annonce their no-refund policy.
VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Same here. CRASH, CRASH AND CRASH. Constantly crashing. And it's been like that ever since I bought the software. And it doesn't seem to improve AT ALL!!! I'm starting to think that Artisteer simply do not have the know-how to solve the issues.

Tried to install the Demo for Mac, but I can`t get it done. The icon just pops around and where the window should appear the programm crashes. Any suggestions how to fix this?

I contacted support and told me mac is still a beta and not officially released. It sucks that i am paying for a yearly beta every year, that is not officially released yet. If it is beta please lower the price or make it available so we can go ahead and report errors or use.

I'm running the current release of Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3. The assertion that you've resolved all known issues with the mac is just laughable. Just for kicks I installed it on a fresh instal of Mac OS X, downloaded the latest Artisteer and it still crashes and crashes and crashes. Not only that... but it's INCREDIBLY SLOW. I have an iMac, with an i7 processor and 16gb of RAM. It shouldn't be slow at all.

I have paid for continued upgrades for two years in the hope that Artisteer for Mac OS X would become a viable program that would run quickly without crashing but sadly it has not achieved this.
I am currently using version 3.1 (The latest release candidate at the time of writing) and if anything, Artisteer 3 is slower and more crash prone then previous versions.
Reflecting the thoughts of another message on this page, I feel that I am having to pay to beta test a very slow and temperamental program, which is only updated maybe once or twice a year.
The reason I have stuck with it for so long is that the concept of Artisteer is great but unless a faster, functional, more reliable version is forthcoming, I will not be paying a renewal for upgrades again.
I have run it on OS X Leopard, Snow Leopard and Lion on a Macbook 2.4ghz Core 2 Duo with 4gb of RAM so memory should not be a problem, but the same problems with Artisteer are always there, even on a clean install of OS X.

I purchase Artisteer 3.1 a few weeks ago and am having the same issues, quits all the time and I am getting NO WHERE. Anyone have a fix or recommendation for this in Mac?

Same issues as everyone above. Running a Mac Laptop OS 10.6.3. I downloaded the trial and in theory it looks like a cool program. After testing it for 3-4 hrs it has crashed 10+ times. It is a waste of my time at this point. The is not a stable program and should not be available for sale. Unless there is a fix out there, I urge you not to purchase Artisteer for Mac. I am glad that I have only wasted my time and not my money.

Yep, still crashing, just tried v. 3.1.0.55575 and it's hilarious how it doesn't work at all, I click on the icon and the program crashes constantly (don't open, just crash).
