Like so, I want to have the main menu on the right instead of the top. Where, on the right you see buttons. By default, artisteer seems to make templates where you have a "header" and then "content" underneath the header. I want the actual header to be a button.
How is this done?

This is something that will be possibly supported by the next version release last I heard. Not possible now within current versions of Artisteer.

You can place your main menu on left module position but the submenus and other formatting will stop displaying.

Hmm... thats too bad that artisteer does not support it. Can I code it by hand?
I've tried to place the main menu on the right except nothing shows up when I do that. I've tried the left as well, but still... nothing.

You can place the main menu in the left or right sidebars as long as your template has those positions configured. The menu will be a block with text links... just not buttons.
In Artisteer, did your template start off with a left and/or right sidebar configured?

Artisteer is planning to introduce vertical menus(left or right) in upcoming 2.4 version.

To add vertical menus in joomla you can try superfish joomla exension.

If you have complex menu needs I recommend you look at http://www.swmenupro.com/
I use the paid-for version and it is supremely flexible.

Hi guys,
this is all about some custom, hand-made css formating, isn´t it? You Just must edit your main .css file, it´s all.
Or - em I wrong? I just started with Joomla! and Artisteer look like very good tool for webdesigners, but you must still know how to code .CSS and little bit of PHP, so where is problem?
Just made, or find some of the menu you like - the CSS examples of vertical menu is full internet - and put that code into your menu.css or whatever your template name the menu. It´s really easy.
But yes, it will be great, if Artisteer have this settings. Glad to hear it.

Hi. I just have a question about the new 2.4. It seems to have the option to have the vertical menu, but when I go to the tab I am unable to click on any of the options. I have upgraded with no problems as my time hasnt run out yet. I just feel like Im missing something. Probably something easy and I have domestic blindness.
Hope someone can help
Thanks

Ok, I just answered my own question, sorry to be a bother. What is was is I opened an older file made with a previous version and it didnt like that at all. If I opened a brand new one to start from the beginning, then its all there. Once again sorry if Ive wasted anyones time.
Thanks
