A forum that would let me subscribe to threads would be great.

Hi Steven,

Have discussed this with Artisteer a few times and the latest news I received was they were writing their own !

Don't ask me why there are many good PHP open-source forums out there that could be set up in minutes !

cheers Dave

My two cents:

Yes, this is a cutesie-tootsie forum ...but completely dysfunctional! With so many free options out there:

https://www.phpbb.com/

http://www.kunena.org/

...to name just two.

Please, please, please! It's far too common these days IMO where "form" takes precedence over "function" . If this forum was a little more functional, I'd bet a lot of the negativity would slowly subside as users could actually communicate EFFICIENTLY and find the answers, thus lightening the load of support, NO?

A migration would undoubtedly be a little tricky ...getting all of this content "moved" over, but perhaps the link form Artisteer main page to "Forum" could then give the user a choice: "View Old Forum" and "View New Forum". "Old Forum" could be just as it is now with it's limited ability to search effectively but no new posting allowed. New Forum with a little help from we, the users, could link back to the "Old" wherever possible. I think we, as users would be willing to do our part, NO?

Okay, that was more like five cents but inflation seems to impact everything. ;-)
