Not sure what happened but I have been noticed today that the white background sheet in IE had disappeared or slid to the top. So now the Artisteer theme link is right under my header. Looks great on mozilla but not on IE now.

Any help would be appreciated

I would try a
<div style='clear:both'></div>

just before the end of the
art-Sheet-cc
div

... who knows... it could work.

Have you entered some text in your website directly copying from MS Word

No, nothing from MS word? Why do you ask? Is copying and pasting from word bad? What about notepad?

As you are running the latest WP, try making the plugin's inactive and see if the theme renders ok, if it does activate the plugins one at a time, checking after each activation, maybe there is a conflict.

This is only a suggestion, it is fine in FF, so it could be the way IE is reading the CSS and some of the plugins have their own CSS and maybe there is a conflict with the contact-form-7, seolinx or commentluv.

I have a site with WPMU and BuddyPress where FF is fine but IE has problems.

No expert just a suggestion.

Jay,
At the bottom of this page is a W3C xhtml Image, click on it and enter your website URL.

It comes up with 38 Errors and 15 Warnings, the seolinx-tooltip and youtube make most of these, disable these and check the website.

if you still have a problem run the validator again, as you may have a missing end tag or another problem that is causing this in IE.

@ jay

Yes, copying and pasting directly from MS Word to a Wordpress website sometimes causes exactly same problems in IE because Word add formatting to text, but there is no issue with notepad.

Hi Jay,
Looks like it is fixed, what was the problem, as it may help others?
