I don't really see any import button/option so I guess your right, but "compatibility is impossible"
If they can be exported as DNN Skins... then there is compatibility!
don't get me wrong Artisteer is a great program, I would even say the best, but I think it would have even much more to win if we could import/convert other projects like joomla/drupal or DNN, I'm sure I'm not the only one considering buying this... but the problem really stands there... I would have to build new skins for existing sites instead of just changing them.
Thanks for the reply!

Yes but... The task would be too much complicated, believe me. I'm a professional developer and I kow what it means...
If you need some specific work on some skins of yours, do not hesitate to contact me

I love "impossible" declarations and "complicated" declarations ... the situation described can be handled in Visual Studio (or in Eclipse J2EE) by creating an XML/XSLT interface between DNN-specific structures and Artisteer structures. Granted, it is something I'd rather see done natively. But for now, it would be a viable alternative if someone/some company were to commit to Artisteer as skinning design tool and had many skins to process.

Me again...
When I posted this I was using a trial version...
I was talking to a friend... spanih actually he is using Artiseer and I asked I'm to send me the files artisteer generates when you save a project...
Well I can open that with 7zip... All I see is XML/XSL and a folder with images... so If you ask me I do think this is not only possible... but not so hard has it was said here....
Also this would for sure bring even a lot more people to buy Artisteer...
This is something I think the Devs should consider.
Cheers
