I just got Artisteer Standard Version and love the software but don't know how to export the theme to my WordPress site. Images are missing and two-thirds of the page isn't showing. I have followed the instructions to export as described in the manual

Your site is empty as the content you see in Artisteer is just dummy content and doesn't goes with theme, you need to input content through your Wordpress admin.

Why doesn't the website title and slogan as well as images within the article section show up? Should I export as an html file and add the content with html editor before uploading?

Do I have to save the file as an .artx file? If so how do I do this?

You need to enter website title and slogan going settings->general. You can add content(and images) going posts-> add new and pages-> add new
