I have used artisteer to create a site.
http://www.truelineat.com

when i view it on the blackberry storm. I get a blank page.
when viewed on any other web browser it shows.

This is the 3rd site in a row that doesnt work on the blackberry storm.
If I hand code a site i am able to view it, I am trying the artisteer and it creates good looking sites, but if it cant be viewed on blackberry it does me no good.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

That has less to do with artisteer (though the CSS does play a part) than it has to do with the way mobile devices like the blackberry process the template. You should look into:
http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/mobile/9804

It is a plugin that is designed to allow for mobile devices to access joomla sites. You'll still have to generate a template for mobile devices (there is a link to a decent one on the plugin page), but overall if you need your site to be accessible to mobile devices, you should create a mobile friendly template.

I'm having the same problem...for me it looks like it's all down to the background on the page - I had the Glare, Gradiant and Background options set and that's when I was losing the page on the BlackBerry.

So far, I've just removed those options and I can see my site on my BlackBerry.

I hope that helps.

Removing the gradient solved this problem for me. I also had a major problem with the page header getting screwed up. I had to hack the CSS to not use images for the header but rather a background colour.

I have a couple of sites up now. This is the latest template:

I have this problem on a Blackberry Tour. The issue is not that I can't see the site, but that other people can't see it! Of course I can download a fix, but it doesn't resolve the problem that my clients' websites don't display at all on a potential customer's Blackberry device. :-@

Other than that I love the software :-{}
