I would like to see a transparency facility on the header background - this would provide a neat solution to the static bloggy look that is often cited as a criticism of Artisteer. That and fluid width would open up this entire software package to having exactly what you want in a design not tied to fixed header-footer sidebar structure.
For example, with a header background able to be made transparent, if you wanted to just place a logo above your content you could and many variations thereof. As it is you have to take the oblong rectangle option to have any header info at all - which is really old hat!
This is such a great product and it needs freeing up in terms of its rigidity of structure. Hope you take this as constructive criticism!

Quote Jonathan:
Hi all,
I know block background transparency isn't a feature yet, and Article transparency is only available in the professional addition.
I have the professional addition but I can't seem to find this feature and really need it!
So if anyone could point me in the right direction to making the article boxes, semi-transparent, that would be wonderful! I know I can get rid of the box but I don't want to do that. I just want it to be screened!

You can also download a plugin called Custom Post Background by David Sherrett. When you post an article, the article (post) itself can have a different background. You can go into your Wordpress and search for the plugin and automatically install it, or you can check out the developers site here> http://blogtap.net/custom_post_background_plugin.shtml
It's a great plugin that works with all versions of Artisteer because it uses the WP post function.
