How to replace footer with an image file?

Hello. I'm hoping somebody can help me.

I'm trying to replace the footer with an image file but of course I can't work out how to do it!

I've tried inserting the image code into the "Footer" section under Appearance, and that didn't work, so I'm thinking I need to put something in the Footer.php code.

Any ideas? I want to completely fill the footer section with this image.

I take it this isn't something that's easy to do, hence the lack of response??

Instead of Footer.php, should I maybe look at changing something in functions.php?

I think Artisteer themes use an image in footer, you can change that image or modify the HTML and CSS according to your needs.

I tried that and it's not working. If you look at the stylesheet below, it allows for a Footer.png file, which I've transferred across, with no luck.

I decided to just replace the existing footer file with mine, but nothing.

Ok, I've managed to get it to show in Firefox and in Internet explorer, but in FF it's not high enough, and in IE, there's an ugly box showing.

I managed to place an image into the footer as a texture by importing it via the "Import texture from file.. " option. I've been able to do this in several places; still trying to figure out if/how it could be done with the buttons though. It takes some playing with, and isn't perfect, but the code can then be tweeked outside of Artisteer.

Artisteer doesn't support adding button images from outside, image named "Button" is used for displaying buttons, you can try changing/editing this image from your images folder.
