Permissions are not changing so I am unable to use Editor in WP. I've changed the permissions using FTP, (Filezilla and Fire), and in the Host's CP (cPanel) and the change from 644 to 755 is registered there but not on the WP site.

Hi Matthew,
I don't see how a permissions problem is an Artisteer problem !
If you change your current theme to say the WP default one, you would have the same issue no ?
Perhaps you could post back some further details and we could help further...

Dave,
Hi, no it's not an Artisteer problem, but I've tried my host, WP forum and am casting around for help. It doesn't work in WP Default theme, an I think it must be the host. But another site I host there is OK.
I asked on the offchance it was a glitch in the upgrade from the beta which I did today.

Hi Matthew,
No worries...
Might be time to change your hosting company :)
What happens when you change the permissions in Filezilla ( my choice of FTP program too ! ) ? When you log off and log back on does it look like the change has stuck ?
Also make sure you are using the latest version of Filezilla ( I'm on 3.2.71 ), there was a version a couple of months ago that did wierd things with permissions...
cheers Dave
