Hi.
I hope someone has a simple answer. I have made a simple template in Artiseer (home edition I think) and wanted to add to my blog page, so that i can see it does what I want before I buy . Whole point of a trial I would imagine.
I love the ease of use of Artiseer for us complete numpty's where web design is concerned, but if I can't download and see in my own situation and then be able to tweek bits, then it's not going to be any use to me.
I appreciate that you wouldn't want people using the trial version and then downloading their site and not paying, but the word 'trial' all over the page is surely the deterrent for this.
I know my site would have trial all over it, but that's fine whilst I am playing and making sure it works. Then I can buy full version.
1. I want to be able to add my own names to the menu drop downs - how?
2. I want to be able to see my current postings and archive, how it looks in my new page ?
3. I want to add a 'label' cloud ?
All these things would be good to see even if the download is a trial, but it always helps to see with your own information.
Can anyone advise if the blogger just does not do this on the trial version?
Thanks

Artisteer disabled export because people discovered that a hex text script or hex text cleaner could be used to erase the trail markings out of a test template. Even if they had left it. In the case of Blogger it would had been ever easier to erase or disable the markings since you got full code in a xml file from the start..

Hi again Dave,
I have already looked at the linked info but it shows blogger as one of the export options, but it doesn't when I try in the trial version. I assume it is as Anon says to stop people using and taking out the watermark 'trial'.
p.s. if you l know how to edit my post title let me know, it looks crummy on the listing!

Hi Julie,
No worries - was not giving you a hard time - just being cheeky !
I think you had better ask Artisteer via the Support link on the left, as I really don't know the answer...
( and I have totally no idea what Anonymous is trying to say !!!!! )

Hi Dave
I know you weren't giving me a hard time really, just playing along! he he
I think I found the possible solution in an update to the software which adds blogger somewhere. Only problem...... it uninstalls Artiseer, asks for a reboot and has an installing program open, when it reboots the re-install program is no longer there and ....... I have no Artiseer on my pc and can't find the link to the update!
What a plonker I am

I have spent 2 days playing with this and intend on purchasing it, but it looks like there are problems with the software once it is converted by them consumer. Is there a guarantee? Julie I want to rename my buttons or "1. I want to be able to add my own names to the menu drop downs - how?"

Deirdre, when you say "rename your buttons" and "add your own names to menu drop downs" what are you asking? Artisteer simply creates template. The individual items/modules are all controlled by blogger's user interface (button names, sidebar widget names, menu titles, etc). Could you clarify what you are asking?

I downloaded the trial version, created a background, and exported it to my blogger blog. I didn't like it. So I changed it back to what I had before.
Except now there are things missing. The header doesn't even appear anymore, and the title, date, and footer are all messed up with my posts. I also had a post divider that is not even showing up.
Yes, I copied and saved my blog before I exported and published the template from Artisteer. This program is crap! It will ruin your blog.
DO NOT USE!!!
