I have a basic question regarding Wordpress. I have a site ready to go.
I want it to look like a standard business site.
My question is: Is there an advantage to making the website a static Wordpress site over making it a standard html site?
Looking forward to your advice.

Hi Arite,
I think the benefit is two fold:
a) The site is a CMS, so people can easily change content.
b) You have access to all the wordpress plugins to add further functionality to the site....
c) If you want to change the look and feel of the site, it is much easier with a Wordpress based site than a standard html site.

Thanks Dave. To clarify, when you say you can easily change the "content", are you specifically talking about posts, or can you change the text in the body (since it's a static site there is a body I assume, not just a series of posts on the front page) as if it were a WYSIWIG editor without manually coding in HTML?

Yes, you can change both posts and pages on your Wordpress website anytime without changing any HTML tag.
Additionally Wordpress based websites are highly search engine optimized.
