Help - Sheet Background Question

Hello all

I have a quick question regarding the background/sheet. The current background of my Wordpress site is merely a tan gradient, light to dark. The sheet overlay is a transparent white... Is there anyway to make the sheet an image, as opposed to merely a color? Or to include an image? Essentially, I would like to create text in a flowing script on a fully transparent background, so that the 'sheet' would look like an old document.

For example, visit my site below... I would like for the overall background of the site to remain the same, but for the sheet to have semi-transparent font in it, so that it looks like an old document with my articles on top. Is this at all possible to have done?

My website is http://www.therightoftherepublic.com

Thanks!

Yes, though I do not use WP, HTML and CSS is common to all.

Go to http://myArtisteer.com

There is an article, Replace Artisteer’s text logo, that sets an image or background.

There are also templates that you can download with imagesabsolutely positioned.

Here's a template with three images added to the Header after export. You could actually position them anywhere in the art- Sheet.

This is very much a possibility, though the editing would have to be done outside of Artisteer. It's been requested to make it so that Artisteer can handle background images on the sheet, but I think it's a bit more complicated to achieve than it might first seem.

Whatever the case, I have a tutorial on my site regarding this at http://webstylee.com/forum/artisteer-1/background-image-on-sheet/. However, I have to say that your current theme is, in my opinion, as perfect as it gets. Personally, I'd just keep it as it is. It's a very nice theme.

David,

Thanks so much for the link to your site - it was a tremendous help, and I got exactly what I wanted:

Thanks for helping me resolve the issue. I have to ask - does anyone know how I can get rid of the little line/box at the top of the blogroll when viewing a category? As you can see from the above link, it's a bit of an eyesore.

I already removed the text that was in it, which offered links to other categories, but I can't figure out how to simply get no box there at all.

Again, thanks for the help!
