Hi everyone,

I'm getting ready to purchase Artisteer Standard Version today, but before I do I'm hoping that someone can help me with this one feature...

In the Artisteer demo that I downloaded, while you're creating a Wordpress theme it shows a Categories button with a dropdown menu when you mouse over it.

I created a test theme for my blog but that Categories button with dropdown to navigate my post categories does not automatically appear.

How can I make this happen like it does in the demo?

Thank you for any answers and my apologies if this is a stupid question.

Many people mistake the sample template page with catagory and archive as a WordPress feature in the menu bar but they really just represent pages named what they are. This is something that can be added to a theme after it is generated and exported and involves a little code added to the header.php file. Here is a theme that has that funtionality added to it and you can download it to take a look at the header.php file to see what has to be added.

Thank you for the replies.

I did go ahead and buy the Standard Edition earlier and was happy with the results at first... that was, until I tested my blog in FireFox 3.5 :(

In IE8 and FF 3.0.11 my theme looks just like it does in Artisteer, but in FF 3.5 the sheet properties and borders look fudged. Just for example, the footer background does not meet the edges of the border in FF 3.5 like it does in FF 3.0.11 or IE8, and the copyright text sits halfway outisde/below the footer block.

Combining that with the lack of response to a direct email to support early this morning, I'm beginning to question my purchase of this software.

Dave,
Are you using the latest version. There was some issues with a previous one but the newest version supposedly resolves it.
