Why does Artisteer overwrite files? |

I've made some code changes to my header.php. When I change a layout on my theme and then upload it, it overwrites my header.php. Is there a way to avoid this? I'd rather not change around a bunch of code, just to upload a changed theme and have my code changed.

Can I know what type of changes you are making, if you are making CSS changes you can write !important to assign higher priority to your added styles
