Hello,
I've created a theme with Artisteer and have it on my blog. I really don't like how it loads. It is a very unbecoming download. Can someone tell me why it does that and if there is a fix please? My knowledge of CSS is almost nil. So if there is a fix and it involves a lot of CSS, please give me a step by step solution. Thank you so much in advance!

It is loading absolutely fine on my side, I have latest version of FF

Your site seemed to load okay but it looks like there is a problem with your footer.php file. Did you make changes to it?

Garry, you are absolutely right. It downloads really smoothly on FF. It doesn't though on IE and Google Chrome. Would you mind having a look in either of these browsers? I cringe every time I open my blog. I could start using FF but that wouldn't resolve the fact that others see this very unsightly download. If this can't be resolved, this program is useless to me. I appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks!

I see your problem. Not sure why it is doing that. What version of Artisteer are you using? If you want to send me your .artx I would like to see if I can find out why it's doing that. I have a test site setup to see what happens.

I bet the the size of the backgound image is too large. Optimize it for better results. Don't expect a 5MB image to load as fast as an 75kb image.
