Hi

For wordpress, in the layout there is 4 different columns,

1) Search
2) Catagories
3) Archive
4) Blogroll

How can I edit these headings. E.g I want to change Archive to Pages for example

Regards

John,
Those default widgets are only there if you do not select your own widgets to be included from the WordPress Dashboard. For each one of your sidebars you can choose the widgets and where they appear such as Recent Posts, Links, Comments, Text, and even more... As soon as you select widgets the default ones that are coded into the theme will disappear and your chosen ones will take their place.

Go to appearance->widgets and add all 4 widgets(1) Search, Catagories, Archive and Blogroll ) to your sidebar on your wordpress admin, after adding these widgets click on edit button on your right on that screen and you'll be able to change headings.
