This is a major problem for me. I'm really newbie on Artisteer and know very little about theming, though I have fairly good experience with Drupal.
I tried creating a theme, and was very impressed to be able to install it and have it working straight off. However the one thing that didn't work at all was Panels. The layout is completely messed up (notably the left-hand column gets output all over the right-hand column).
The only thing that seemed to work is setting the styles of all the panes to be "system block" (ie they all show up formatted as Blocks). This works ok, but on the other hand it is not the format that I want!
I thought of hacking the generated theme files, but one look at them was enough to tell me I didn't want to go down that route! I would be better off hacking an existing theme from the Drupal site.
It would be great if the Artisteer people could either give a simple workaround to this, or else reassure me that it will be fixed in a forthcoming release...
