I looked through these forums and could not find an answer to this: in the functions.php file is a line:
$shortname = "artisteer";
What does this do?

I am using Artisteer 2 and my functions.php file generated by Artisteer doesn't contain this.

It is there in 2.1 (latest).
I just change it to the name of the theme :)
