Currently, if you don't want the header section to be surrounded by the border or shadow of the rest of the sheet, you can edit the output html/php code so that the header div preceeds the sheet div. It works, but it would be really nice if it were included as an option in Artisteer, especially since the output thumbnail would reflect the appearance.
This simple option would be a welcomed feature in regard to my own templating.
